Fort Myers, Fla.-based CONRIC PR & Marketing has named Chuck Myron communications editor. He brings a wealth of experience in national and Southwest Florida media as a writer, editor, author and digital content producer.
Myron will spearhead editorial content for Res Gestae, the monthly magazine of the Lee County Bar Association, as well as write and edit press releases, blogs, social media posts and more. He’ll use his understanding of the evolving language of engagement to craft and hone messages for CONRIC’s varied and growing portfolio of clients.
“Words are everything, particularly in the Information Age,” Myron said. “They can enlighten, encourage, embolden, empower and enrich. The most important word in business is ‘team.’ You have to be greater than the sum of your parts to compete in today’s world. And what attracted me the most to CONRIC is its fundamental belief in the team concept. You can tell by the quality of the work here that everyone is moving in concert toward the same goal.”
Myron previously worked for WINK-TV and The News-Press, as well as Trade Rumors, a national sports media company. He is one of two co-authors of “Hits and Misses in the Baseball Draft: What the Top Picks Teach Us About Selecting Tomorrow’s Major League Stars,” published in 2014 by McFarland & Company. He’s performed public relations for a U.S. House campaign, a political advocacy group, a software company and many others.
“Creative, compelling and accurate copywriting is at the heart of every marketing, advertising, and public relations campaign we develop at CONRIC, and Chuck Myron’s vast experience and positive attitude made him the perfect candidate for the role of Communications Editor on our growing CONRIC team,” said Connie Ramos-Williams, CONRIC PR & Marketing’s president and chief marketing officer.
