Fordham Law School has named Victoria Grantham its Senior Director of Communications and Marketing. She brings two decades of strategic communications expertise working in complex global entities as well as fast-moving entrepreneurial organizations.
Most recently, she led communications and marketing at the Robin Hood Foundation, the largest poverty-fighting organization in New York and a best-in-class nonprofit known for its effective approach. At Robin Hood she used new storytelling tools to put a spotlight on the organization’s lifesaving work, position it as a thought leader and convener, and increase its visibility.
“I am happy to welcome Victoria to the Fordham Law family. She brings a breadth of experience that will serve the law school well as we move forward in implementing the Fordham Law Forward strategic plan,” said Matthew Diller, Dean and Paul Fuller Professor of Law at Fordham Law School.
At Fordham Law School, Grantham will set the strategic direction for communications and oversee all external and internal communications and marketing – including media relations, digital and social media, market research, and publications. She will serve as a key member of the leadership team and she will be based at the Fordham Law campus across from Lincoln Center.
“I’m delighted to join Fordham Law School. From a longstanding commitment to service, to an impressive record of graduate employment, it’s clear it is a special, transformative place,” said Grantham. “The school’s reputation for academic excellence combined with its connected community of dedicated, caring students, faculty, and alumni is unmatched. I’m excited to work with the team to help further elevate Fordham Law School’s important work, and to convey its far-reaching, distinctive impact to diverse audiences.”
Grantham spent the bulk of her career, prior to Robin Hood, at a boutique communications firm and at a global agency where she created award-winning campaigns for clients in education, nonprofit, technology, health, and beyond. She also worked in communications at Kaplan, the educational services company.
