Global Results Communications’ founder, Valerie Christopherson, was recognized in the following categories, Female CEO of the Year under the advertising, marketing and public relations category for its submission “Powered through COVID-19, keeping entire staff employed.”

“It’s an honor to be named a winner by CEO World Awards for this esteemed industry and peer recognition,” said Christopherson, CEO and Founder of Global Results Communications. “This further validates our position as a company poised to successfully overcome the COVID19 pandemic as a team. Right now, no one has all the answers, but everyone has experiences and drawing from variations of experiences will create a better outcome for the agency and its clients.”

CEO World Awards celebrate the achievements of leaders, executives and their management teams behind the year’s most outstanding initiatives and achievements, with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leading the development of the organization’s short- and long-term strategy. This annual awards program recognizes individuals and teams who set industry benchmarks for excellence. All organizations private or public, corporations, nonprofits, associations, vendors and government organizations worldwide are eligible to enter.

As trained crisis professionals living in the tech era of 2020, communications experts have been challenged in what is surely an evolving global change. The reality of life post-COVID-19 has not fully sunk in yet, and its consequences for each business, organization, economy and society will play out over the rest of 2020 and beyond. What was most important to Christopherson during the uncertain time was fulfilling three promises she made to her staff: 1) Every team member will get paid 2) All will stay employed through this time 3) The company will keep all of its normal benefits through this time.

Judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated, and their average scores determined the 2020 award winners. Winners will be celebrated and presented their awards during a virtual awards ceremony in November.
