Las Vegas Review-Journal: promotes Nicole Raz (@JournalistNikki) to Assistant Business Editor. She will continue to write about economic development and technology business, including drones.
New York Times: hires Natalie Kitroeff (@Nataliekitro) as a Business Day Reporter covering economics and heavy industry. She will be based in New York. California-based technology reporter Vindu Goel (@vindugoel) will move to Mumbai in late September to cover technology in India. Raymond Zhong (@zhonggg) joins as a Technology Reporter focusing on China. He will work in the Hong Kong bureau and then move to Beijing.
Wall Street Journal: promotes Mike Miller (@mikemillerwsj) to Senior Editor for Features and “WSJ Weekend.” Meg Marco (@meghann) joins as Editor, Digital Content Strategy. Miriam Gottfried (@miriamgottfried) is now covering private equity and corporate restructuring on the deals team.
Washington Post: hires Michael Scherer (@michaelscherer) as National Political Reporter, effective Sept. 5.

Fiscal Times: promotes Yuval Rosenberg (@yuvalrosenberg) to Editor-in-Chief, replacing Jackie Leo, who left.
Marketplace: hires Molly Wood (@mollywood) as Senior Technology Correspondent and Host of “Marketplace Tech.” She replaces Ben Brock Johnson (@TheBrockJohnson), who will work on a new project for WBUR-FM Boston.
Prospect Publishing Group: plans a Sept. 12 launch for ROI-NJ, a multi-channel media property covering business, economics and politics in New Jersey. A weekly print edition will launch Oct. 9. Former NJBiz editor Tom Bergeron (@TomBergeron5) serves as Editor and Chief Content Officer.
