Bloomberg News: hires Liana Baker (@LianaBaker) as U.S. Deals Team Leader in New York.

HuffPost: Ashley Feinberg (@ashleyfeinberg) has left.

Los Angeles Times: hires Jeff Bercovici (@jeffbercovici) as Deputy Business Editor, effective in a few weeks. He will oversee technology coverage. He’s based in the San Francisco area and announced on Twitter that he’ll be expanding the tech team there.

New York Times: hires Sarah Kliff (@sarahkliff) as an Investigative Reporter, effective in June. She will write investigative pieces as well as explanatory and analytical stories about health policy. She’s based in D.C. New York Times launches NYT Parenting (https://parenting.nytimes.com/), a website covering parenting topics. Coverage includes health, relationships, personal finance, work-life issues, and child development stages from conception and pregnancy through preschool. Recurring features include “The Hardest Part,” with first-person essays from writers about parenting challenges; “Tiny Victories,” featuring stories submitted by readers; and “Is This a Thing?,” about “why certain things seem to happen to kids” as they grow. Jessica Grose (@JessGrose) is the Lead Editor.

Time Magazine: hires Elijah Wolfson (@elijahwolfson) as Health and Science Editor.

Washington Post: hires Janice Page (@GlobeJPage) as Arts Editor, effective June 3.

Adweek: promotes Stephanie Paterik (@stephpaterik) to Executive Editor.

Breaker Mag: will cease publication this month (@BreakerMag). The publication covers blockchain technology.

AARP: hires Dan Gilgoff (@dangilgoff) as Executive Editor, Digital and Content.

MeatEater: hires Anthony Licata (@AnthonyLicata) as Editor-in-Chief.

Philadelphia Magazine: promotes Fabiola Cineas (@FabiolaCineas) to Senior Editor. She will oversee a new vertical focusing on the area’s life sciences industry.

InsideClimate News: hires Vernon Loeb (@LoebVernon) as Senior Editor for Investigations, Enterprise and Innovations.

Healthcare and Medicine

Industry Dive: hires Dana Elfin (@Dana_A_Elfin) as Senior Editor of MedTechDive and HealthCareDive. She will focus on hospitals, payers, and medical devices.

Kaiser Health News: hires Laura Ungar (@laura_ungar) as Midwest Editor/Correspondent.

Politics, Government and Education

Hill, The: hires Maggie Miller (@magmill95) as a Cybersecurity Reporter.

Technology and Telecoms

G/O Media: Susie Banikarim (@banikarim) and Alex Dickinson (@Alex_Dicko_) have left. The company was known as Gizmodo Media Group before its acquisition by private equity firm Great Hill Partners.

Vox Media: hires Samantha Oltman (@samoltman) as Editor of Recode. The company implemented the partnership between Vox and Recode, in which the latter became a section within the former. Under the partnership, Vox staffers will contribute to Recode.
