Tom has worked with press releases and newswires for more than 20 years.
He joined leading news distribution provider PR Newswire in 2000, working first as a copy editor, then through the client services function and finally as relationships director, where he was responsible for managing partnerships with news agencies, key client groups and other strategic affiliates.
He has presented extensively on newswire strategy, corporate communications and media landscapes at industry and client events in China, the US, India, the Middle East and all across Europe
In 2016, Tom became a freelance writer, trainer and consultant. He has helped many communicators with their press release content, and has been newswire consultant for Agility since 2021.
