Entertainment and lifestyle marketing agency Allied Integrated Marketing announced it has opened a London office and is rebranding as Allied Global Marketing. Allied’s Chief Digital Officer, Adam Cunningham, is relocating to London to lead the company’s expansion into the UK and European markets, and the company has tapped industry veteran Rachel Mansson to be General Manager, International. Together they will focus on digital, direct-response customer acquisition strategies for new global streaming services, as well as helping established media companies make the transition to direct-to-consumer marketing.

In addition to expanding Allied’s footprint internationally, Cunningham will continue to oversee the agency’s digital division across North America and UK/Europe. Prior to joining Allied, Cunningham was the Founder & CEO of 87AM, a leading full-service digital agency for arts, entertainment and culture, which became part of Allied in 2011, and has continued to operate as its digital division. The 87AM name will also transition to Allied Global Marketing as part of the rebranding. Cunningham will be a featured speaker at several upcoming key industry events, including IBC, Europe’s leading electronic media conference, MIPCOM, the world’s entertainment content market, and Videoscape Europe, the thought-leadership event for TV streaming.
Before joining Allied Global Marketing, Mansson served as VP Marketing, International New Media at NBCUniversal where she successfully conceived, built, launched and grew many flourishing digital businesses and products internationally. Prior to NBCUniversal, Mansson worked for PolyGram Films, Star TV in Hong Kong, and MTV Europe.
