Allison+Partners has promoted Lisa Rosenberg to President, Consumer Brands. In this newly created position, Lisa will focus on unifying the practice, nurturing and adding depth to agency talent and driving business growth across regions.
“Consumer-focused business accounts for roughly 20 percent of our total agency revenue, and we’re looking to accelerate this growth exponentially,” said Scott Allison, Global Chairman and CEO. “To do this requires dedicated leadership and, with Lisa, we have one of the industry’s leading consumer marketers. It just makes sense to leverage her strengths and focus her talents to propel our work forward in this area.”
During her seven years with Allison+Partners, Lisa has been the driving force behind many of the agency’s award-winning consumer campaigns. Most recently, she led the teams that brought both the ‘”Rosé Berry” and “Braspberry” to life for Driscoll’s, created “Room 301,” a social experiment for Kimpton Hotels, and worked with American Airlines to concept and produce ‘Wi-Fi Withdrawal,’ a comedic short about being on a cross-country flight without Wi-Fi. She was made a partner at the agency in 2016.
“Consumer brands today must live at the intersection of culture and commerce in order to create relevancy — to be awake as a brand means owning a larger cultural truth and putting everything you have behind it,” Rosenberg said. “It’s a really interesting time for brands – we’ve been talking about the importance of brand purpose for the last few years and, in the age of COVID-19, we’re actually seeing brands step up, do good and deliver beyond their purpose. These are the brands that consumers will remember – those that jumped in to serve without being asked. In our role as trusted advisors, we are guiding clients through this unprecedented time in history and working with them to ensure business continuity and cement brand love.”
Lisa has more than 30 years of experience developing award-winning campaigns for major consumer brands. Previously, she was president of North America for Havas PR, where she was responsible for the operational and business leadership of the agency. She also spent two decades at Porter Novelli, where she served on the agency’s global leadership committee and held a variety of executive leadership roles. Throughout her career, she has worked with many leading companies including Gillette, M&M/Mars, Procter & Gamble, HP, Mercedes-Benz, Oral-B, British Airways, Johnson & Johnson, Ford and more. Lisa has also been recognized by PRWeek as a “Champion of PR” and has won more than 35 awards on behalf of her clients.
