“We are happy to join ATREVIA because it allows us to become part of a company with a strong presence in Latin America, to which we will be able to bring our knowledge of the Brazilian market, especially in multilateral projects”, says Viviana Toletti, CEO of the Company. XCOM adopts modern concepts of awareness and share of voice, and applies various communication tools to achieve the most complex objectives for its clients, in addition to creating solid and secure corporate performance models based on relationships and integrity. Its purpose is ethics, human approach and citizenship.
Among its main clients are UOL, PagBank, UOLEdtech, IBGC (Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa), St. Marche, Yango Ads, Construtora Patriani and Complexo Tatuapé.
ATREVIA continues with its ambitious acquisitions Plan.
“In 2011 we started our international expansion in Brazil, and we are now further strengthening our presence in the country with the acquisition of XCOM. We are now 650 professionals in 15 countries, all with the same goal: to utilize communication, public affairs, reputation and brand management to support the growth of our economies and the transformation of society. We are consolidating our positioning as the partner agency for Communication and Public Affairs for Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries” explains Núria Vilanova, founder and executive president of ATREVIA.
In 2024, the consultancy -with Asunción Soriano as Global CEO, Alex Bonet as vice president of LATAM North and Miguel Angel López as vice president of LATAM South- announced its Strategic Plan 2024-2028. “In a very short time, we have added seven companies, and we do not rule out future acquisitions that either complement our knowledge and/or improve our presence in certain regions”, states the president of ATREVIA.

Three of these acquisitions have been made in Latin America. In 2022, ATREVIA acquired the digital business of Apple Tree in Colombia, to continue the commitment to offer increasingly integrated solutions to clients in the area of strategic consulting; in 2024, it added Nueva Comunicación in Uruguay, specialized in corporate communications and public affairs, and now XCOM in Brazil. The rest of the companies acquired are based in Spain – Microbio, creatibialab, Ulises Comunicación and LUIKE.
ATREVIA‘s Strategic Plan has also reinforced the importance of Latin America for the company, with the creation of a Latam Corporate Affairs Hub, led by Alex Bonet, and a Latam Strategic Creativity Hub, led by Miguel Ángel López. It also has two new regional specialized units: Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, both managed from Chile, and the regional practice of Culture, People Management and Internal Communication, managed from ATREVIA Mexico. It is also worth highlighting the strong ties with civil society and the business world in the region, being an active member of associations, business groups and think tanks in almost every country where it is present.
ATREVIA‘s relationship with Latin America is twofold, since Núria Vilanova also leads the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI), a private and non-political entity formed by almost 300 presidents of the largest Ibero-American companies, who are committed to strengthening the network of relationships and alliances in business, and whose mission is to value the role of the businessperson and their impact on society, promoting social commitment and sustainability. Among its activities is the organization of one of the largest business meetings in the region, which brings together the presidents of companies and business families, and the top decision-makers in the Ibero-American economy. The VIII Ibero-American Business Congress will take place in Seville (Spain) from June 2nd-4th, 2025.
In 2024, ATREVIA had a turnover of 47.6 million euros, 8.7% more than in 2023. It closed the fiscal year with an EBIT of 4.3 million euros. It is also worth highlighting that its activism has led it to be the first B CORP consulting firm to be established in 15 countries, a characteristic which it shares with XCOM Brazil, part of B Corporation since 2024. ATREVIA has also been a member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2003.
