Axioma announced the appointment of Molly McGregor as Managing Director, Marketing and Communications. McGregor was previously Chief Marketing Officer of Hanweck—a provider of real-time risk analytics for the global derivatives markets—since 2016.

“Molly is a superb fit with Axioma, bringing a strong combination of fintech and financial-industry experience to lead our marketing team,” said Tom Severance, Chief Revenue Officer. “As Axioma’s growth continues to accelerate, marketing is playing an increasingly vital role in communicating the competitive advantages of Axioma’s innovative solutions to investment managers and financial institutions.”

Prior to her stint at Hanweck, McGregor was with the International Securities Exchange—the first all-electronic options market in the U.S.—for 10 years, most recently as Senior Vice President of Communications, Marketing and Government Relations. She earlier served as a Policy Advisor on global regulatory issues for the Institute of International Finance, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association for global financial services firms, after beginning her career in mergers and acquisitions at Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

McGregor holds a master’s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a BA in Politics and Economics from Washington and Lee University.
