Leading global influencer agency, Billion Dollar Boy (BDB), announces the appointment of Serafin Sivcak as Account Director for the DACH region.
Serafin will support the expansion of BDB’s European presence, covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. His appointment follows news that BDB UK becomes BDB Europe to reflect its existing offering across the region and to meet the demand for creator marketing across Europe.
Serafin brings almost ten years of industry experience in account management. Previous experiences include a role as Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Google, where he developed and executed marketing projects for Google Search, Google Maps and Google Wallet, as well as account management roles at R/GA, BBDO Worldwide, Scholz & Friends and Jung von Matt, where he worked for a number of brands across a range of sectors including Whatsapp, YouTube, Adidas, DFB, Tipico, Shopify, Puma and Swisscom.
BDB is actively recruiting further new hires in the Nordics and Germany as it looks to grow its local teams in key strategic European markets.
Leading the diversification of BDB’s existing offering across Europe, co-founder, Thomas Walters, has been appointed as Europe CEO. He is supported by multilingual regional experts across the business, including Suzanne Stal, Business Director and BENELUX specialist (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg), and Maxime Rozencwajg, Senior Account Director and France Specialist.
According to Statista, creator ad spend in Europe is projected to reach a total value of $3.61 billion by the end of 2022. With a five-year annual growth rate estimated at 12.06%, the market is predicted to reach a further value of $6.38 billion by 2027.
Since its inception in 2014, Billion Dollar Boy has executed industry-leading creator campaigns for some of the world’s biggest global brands across 24 markets in Europe alone, including Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland.
Today, campaigns in Europe (excluding the UK) account for 42% of our global client work. Since January 2021, we have produced thousands of pieces of creator content and generated more than 400 million impressions in total across Europe.
