Building Golf’s Newest Blockbuster, The ClubCorp Classic

What happens when you combine golf, sports, entertainment, and music? You get the inaugural ClubCorp Classic, a professional golf competition taking place on April 19-24, 2022, in Irving, Texas. Hosted by Dallas-based ClubCorp, a leading owner-operator of private golf and country clubs, this exciting event will feature top-notch celebrity players including Alfonso Ribeiro, Roger Clemens, Annika Sorenstam, Brian Urlacher, Emmitt Smith competing alongside a full field of PGA Tour Champions competitors.

Working with host organization Mike Flaskey Entertainment, the agency has been tapped to lead the tournament’s digital and social media presence. The agency will lead the tournament’s organic and paid social media efforts, including content ideation, graphic and video creation, celebrity and influencer engagement, and will be on the ground during tournament week to provide real-time social media coverage live from the event.

The agency also created and launched the tournament’s website, clubcorpclassic.com, and will be working with ClubCorp and additional partners to update and manage the look and feel of the website and other ClubCorp Classic digital assets. The event, much more than a golf tournament, will feature exclusive concerts, meet-and-greets and be an experiential event that is expected to be the talk of the Dallas and golfing communities.
