Children’s Flight of Hope Taps French/West/Vaughan for Marketing Support

by | Jun 24, 2024

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 24, 2024) — French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s largest independently held PR, advertising and digital media agencies, today announced it has been selected to provide creative and integrated marketing support to Children’s Flight of Hope (CFOH).

Incorporated in 1991, CFOH is a non-profit organization that provides flights to specialized medical care for children in need. The organization started by flying children to their treatments through private aircraft, but when the need to increase its impact became apparent, CFOH started booking commercial flights for children and their guardians in 2012. Serving children up to the age of 18, CFOH will facilitate as many flights as needed in order to guarantee a child receives the care he or she needs – whether that is numerous flights a month or once a year for annual appointments.

In 2022, CFOH flew 1,300 missions. The following year, it welcomed over 300 new families and flew more than 2,100 missions, a 62% increase from the previous year. The organization’s growth trajectory remains steep, with more than 2,700 client flights anticipated in 2024 – only touching a small fraction of the need.

“Children’s Flight of Hope is a truly remarkable organization and one the entire FWV team is proud to support as it seeks to expand its reach and capabilities,” said FWV Chairmen & CEO Rick French. “This partnership is even more serendipitous as both FWV and Children’s Flight of Hope are Raleigh-based organizations with national footprints, bringing another level of camaraderie to our relationship. We look forward to working alongside their team to help advance the organization’s impactful work.”

CFOH has tapped FWV to provide a host of creative assistance and marketing support, ultimately supporting the non-profit as it expands into new markets and reaches potential new partners and donors. Work includes a strategic plan to leverage earned and paid media channels, alongside a retail point-of-sale campaign and other supporting creative materials intended to reach its target audience.

“We know FWV is the right partner to help Children’s Flight of Hope serve more families. During a time in which the demand for our services is growing exponentially, the need for new donors and partners is greater than ever,” said CFOH CEO Pat Nelli. “It is due to partnerships like this that we can continue to compassionately provide children with lifechanging and lifesaving flights to centers of healthcare excellence.”
