Interpublic Group agency Golin announced a new client partner to its international roster.Leading travel loyalty and benefits brand, Collinson, appointed Golin the global PR and communications Agency of Record (AOR), following a competitive pitch. The partnership will be led via a dual hub model from the Golin London and Golin Hong Kong offices, and the work will begin immediately.

“As a leader in travel experience, loyalty and customer benefits across more than 170 countries, it’s critical that we have a seasoned PR partner with the global know-how to help us create and implement a solid, unified, agile strategy,” said Stephen Simpson, global marketing director, Collinson. “The Golin team impressed us with their creativity based on insight and data-led capabilities, helping us to see new perspectives and stories.”

As AOR, Golin will head up PR and communications for Collinson with particular focus in Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, UAE, the UK and the US; with further markets to be activated in Europe and Asia. The agency’s first charge will be to build awareness of Collinson’s integrated expertise in loyalty and travel experience, showcasing the group’s breadth of capabilities under one single brand voice and messaging.

“Collinson has a unique proposition,” said Matt Neale, CEO, Golin. “From door to destination, its travel services are intuitive, reliable and experience driven. We are delighted to be their partner in this next phase of the brand’s journey.”

Golin launched the cross-regional PR team specific to this account to better leverage the always-on creative opportunities for earned-first ideas that will best serve Collinson’s global goals.

“The dual hub has been created to ensure that voices, minds and stories are truly globally representative,” Neale added. “Our London and Hong Kong offices are both centers of excellence for creative and storytelling.”
