CommunityClearinghouse.Org, a nonprofit and volunteer based social service agency located in Mt. Joy, Pa. is operated by Dale Vega, himself a senior citizen and volunteer. The agency plans to give seniors ages 70 years and older cash to buy the food that they need. The goal is to help them with free groceries from $200 to $500.
The agency is seeking donors to help support the program by contributing to assist seniors. The Community Clearinghouse is looking to find ways to acquire more donations. The more donors we have the more senior citizens we can help. Giving back to the community is our goal, this charitable work is accomplished by your efforts.
Seniors receive groceries without having to pay it back, it is a one-time cash gift to help them. For members and others that donate $1,000 or more will be invited to the semi-annual luncheon.
We currently have a laptop and desktop computer that we use for the program. They both are very slow and we anticipate newer ones donated.
Tell everyone about our program, it depends on people like you to insure hunger is minimized among our seniors.
