Coyne PR’s new website takes open source approach to benefit PR industry

by | May 26, 2020

Coyne PR has unveiled a new website depicting an agency that is deeply engaged in the Coronavirus crisis. The new site takes an open resource approach to sharing key learnings, best practices and practical tips and advice related to COVID-19 and beyond. Both relevant and respectful, the website opens with a sincere thank you to those in healthcare and essential workers. But, for those in the industry, it offers a combination of both valuable information and much needed inspiration.

The new website shares strategy, expertise and learning that the agency has acquired while helping clients revise communications plans, develop proactive initiatives, build full-scale launch campaigns and advise on bounce back strategies. Visitors to the site are immediately directed to a collection of original COVID-19 resources. Those include recent blog posts with advice from employees as well as issues of “Business as UNusual” – the agency’s weekly e-blast highlighting successful client initiatives achieved during the pandemic.

It is in the spirit of fellowship, that Coyne PR has launched this new online resource to help fellow communicators at every level, from agency and corporate peers to educators and students aspiring to enter the field. Designed as a tool to help support our profession and maintain the strength of our industry, the new site will help to connect communications professionals faced with adapting to the new normal.

Understanding the difficulty many educators now face with providing remote learning, the site also provides educators around the country with access to hundreds of online case studies. There is even a robust video library featuring detailed accounts and color commentary to help bring the work to life. Additionally, Coyne PR professionals are offering their services as virtual guest lecturers to universities upon request. The goal is to offer solutions for college communications and marketing professors in their efforts to develop an engaging curriculum and promote the profession.

“Our primary objective is to offer both inspiration and insight to those throughout our industry,” said CEO, Tom Coyne. “We hope that by sharing some of the amazing work being done by our employees and our clients, we might offer encouragement to others in our field from our peers and leading companies to those learning the profession in college.”

In addition to adding a COVID tab as part of the website’s main navigation, the entire look and feel of the website has been redesigned. This includes enhanced navigation features to improve the user journey and allow visitors to quickly find the resources they’re looking for. There is also a new emphasis on bold imagery and an updated color palette that better reflect the agency’s unique personality.

“First and foremost, we wanted to create a destination where industry professionals could go for useful resources,” added Coyne. “Once there, it was important for the entire experience to reflect our award-winning work, along with our creativity and culture.”
