Tom Alexander has been named communications strategist at Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management – The Strategic Firm® – where he’ll implement public relations and marketing communications strategies for clients in the high tech, higher education and insurance industries.
Before joining Curley & Pynn, Alexander spent more than 15 years reporting and producing news stories for outlets such as ESPN Florida, FOX 35 Orlando, Spectrum News 13, NewsRadio WFLA and Florida News Network. In addition, he has managed marketing and digital content strategies for brands such as Marriott Vacation Club and Margaritaville Resort Orlando, and others in the convention and trade show industry.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF), Alexander earned a bachelor’s degree in radio/television broadcast journalism and is a former chair of the Nicholson School of Communication and Media Chapter of the UCF Alumni Association. Currently, he serves as chair of the board of supervisors of the Stoneybrook West Community Development District, a special-purpose unit of local government.
