Habif – who previously served as SVP of Corporate Development at Jellysmack – joins Dhar Mann Studios to take point on the company’s capital market and M&A activities. Habif, working alongside Dhar Mann Studios CEO, Sean Atkins, and their partners at CAA Evolution, will be tasked with raising growth capital as well as sourcing, negotiating and structuring M&A deals to firmly establish Dhar Mann Studios as the leading Creator Economy business.
While at Jellysmack, Habif focused on targeted acquisitions and investments across the social media industry while also leading efforts to raise capital. Some of the notable projects he led included the purchases of Law & Crime as well as Network Media, and the investment in Fourthwall. Prior to Jellysmack, Habif served as Chief Strategy Officer at RNN-TV and led the Corporate Development and Strategy team at A+E Networks. In earlier roles at A+E Networks, Habif negotiated carriage agreements with MVPDs, drove digital platform growth, and led an analytics team. Habif began his career in advertising sales at Comcast.

Ross has had the unique opportunity to evaluate hundreds of social media companies, in every sector of the business, providing him with a comprehensive perspective of today’s market landscape. Prior to his time with Jellysmack, Ross spent over 15 years working in various business units within the entertainment industry. Ross served as Chief Strategy Officer at RNN-TV and led the Corporate Development and Strategy team at A+E Networks. In earlier roles at A+E Networks, Ross negotiated carriage agreements with MVPDs, drove digital platform growth, and led an analytics team. Ross began his career in advertising sales at Comast. He holds a JD/MBA from UCLA, specializing in media strategy, and a BS in Radio/Television/Film and Psychology from Northwestern University.
