Digital marketing agency Levelwing announced that Monica Hoyer has been named Managing Director. With offices in New York, San Francisco and Charleston, its HQ, Hoyer will help lead the agency’s overall growth and will also be tasked with opening an office in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. She will oversee the team focused on driving meaningful solutions, growth and service delivery for all Levelwing clients.
With an extensive digital and email marketing background, Hoyer was previously the Head of Marketing at Participate Learning, where she was responsible for creating strategy and implementing modern technologies to drive leads for product lines. Prior to that, she spent seven years at iContact – one of the largest providers of email and social media software and services, as Head of Marketing.
Knowledgeable in strategic and tactical marketing planning, media execution, analytics and email, Hoyer has also held various marketing leadership roles at companies in New York, Austin and Research Triangle Park, including Leverage Marketing,Skylist, Critical Mass, Oxford University Press and NBC/iVillage.
Hoyer is a founding member of The Alliance of Women in Tech Leadership in the North Carolina area. She holds a BA in Speech Communications, Journalism and Women’s Studies from Susquehanna University.
