by | Jan 29, 2021

Evoke KYNE, an award-winning health communications agency, today announced the continued expansion of the firm’s in-house specialty Creative, Digital & Social and Earned Media teams in support of double-digit revenue growth in 2020. The nearly 20 new hires and promotions in recent months across the specialty teams reflect the agency’s commitment to delivering integrated and tailored programs to meet each client’s goals, and ultimately creating the greatest impact in health and wellness.

“By expanding our in-house digital and social, creative and earned media expertise, we’ve been able to surpass previous business expectations, bringing more meaningful and impactful campaigns to life and differentiating ourselves within the marketplace,” said Maryellen Royle, Partner and Global Head of Operations, Evoke KYNE. “In 2021 we will continue to staff up with an eye toward global expansion of our specialty functions to deliver a truly customized offering to each client team across our business.”

Notable new hires and promotions include:

  • EK Earned Media, which specializes in building third-party credibility through editorial coverage, has grown by more than 60 percent with several new hires including Ned Berkowitz as Vice President, Media Relations; as well as promotions including Jessica Ross to Director, Media Relations.
  • EK Creative, which uses creative and visual storytelling to bring campaigns and programs to life, has doubled in size with several new hires including Marina Linderman to Senior Art Director.
  • EK Digital & Social, which builds dynamic and measurable programs across channels and mediums, has grown by more than 50 percent globally with the appointments of Patrick Fennelly to Director, Digital Strategist; Maria Ioannides to Director, Social Media; Chuniq Inpower to Senior Manager, Digital Strategy; and the promotion of Shayla Wilson to Director, Digital Strategy.

Additional hires and promotions among the teams are planned for 2021. This ongoing growth is a reflection of the company’s leadership in the industry, illustrated by the agency recently being named a PRWeek Best Places to Work 2020 and finalist for US PRWeek Awards 2021 Outstanding Midsize Agency.
