Flackable, a national, full-service public relations agency headquartered in Philadelphia, has hired Ashley Wolf as account executive and promoted Andrea Mazzola to assistant account executive.
Wolf spent nearly six years in broadcast news with CBS Philly prior to joining Flackable. A graduate of Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media. Her decision to switch to a career in public relations came from daily interactions with public relations professionals.
“I answered PR calls all day during my time at the news desk, and I admired how passionate those PR professionals were when they called to pitch a story,” said Wolf. “I saw my personality fitting into the field. Furthermore, I wanted a career that would allow me to use my creativity and passion.”
Mazzola, previously a communications administrator with Johnson & Johnson, joined Flackable in January, first as an assistant account coordinator and shortly thereafter as an account coordinator. She is an alumna of Rutgers University with a degree in English and Communications. In her new role, she will expand her account management duties, executing public relations campaigns on behalf of financial and professional services firms.
Flackable was founded in 2014 by award-winning public relations strategist Brian Hart. The agency celebrated its five-year anniversary in May.
“A major goal heading into 2019 was to attract and provide opportunities for advancement to some of the top talent in the region,” said Hart. “Welcoming Ashley and Andrea this year and seeing their instant impact on our client campaigns has been amazing. We take a refreshingly bold approach to public relations. The passion, energy and creativity they dedicate to their work falls right in line with that vision and our overall culture.”
