by | Dec 5, 2017

Forefront Communications Group, a boutique marketing and PR firm focused on the capital markets and fintech, today announced it has added longtime PR executive, Jon Teall, as Senior Vice President. Jon is the second major hire for the firm in the last six months, following April’s appointment of marcomms veteran Michael Kingsley.

Jon brings a wealth of journalism and strategic communications experience to Forefront, having worked in the capital markets communications industry for almost 30 years. Jon began his career as a broadcast journalist, eventually working as a Wall Street reporter for CNBC. He later held senior executive positions at Standard & Poor’s, DCR Credit Rating Agency, Lipper Analytical Securities and The Bond Market Association. For the last 10 years, Jon has lead PR firm Teall & Associates, working with a broad range of capital markets clients including the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, the Wholesale Markets Brokers’ Association, PriceMetrix, BNP Paribas and KPMG.

“We are very pleased to add Jon and his deep capital markets’ experience to our team,” said Mark Dowd, Managing Partner at Forefront. “We offer clients a unique blend of senior expertise and hands-on account management and, with his background, Jon fits our model perfectly. He knows the markets and the prominent media who cover them as well as anyone, and he has developed, implemented and managed an impressive array of successful communications programs across a wide range of clients.”

“This is an exciting time for the firm,” added Eric Soderberg, Forefront Managing Partner. “Our business has grown substantially this year through our focus on delivering clients senior-level counsel and exceptional results. I’m certain Jon will offer tremendous value to our clients and we look forward to his contributions to Forefront.”
