WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, GMMB announced new leadership promotions recognizing the exceptional achievements of five leaders who embody the firm’s mission to use communications as a force for good. These promotions position GMMB for continued success in delivering transformative communications solutions for their clients.

Jesse Demastrie and Melissa Morales have been elevated to Partner, while Ben Hawkins, Don Corrigan, and Sandy Won have been promoted to Managing Director. Each brings deep expertise, a passion for our clients’ issues and a commitment to innovation and excellence.

  • Jesse Demastrie: An industry leader in political and issue media buying, Jesse manages an award-winning media team that creates cross-platform media solutions for national and state level political candidates and groups, trade associations, and non-profits.
  • Melissa Morales: Melissa has been on the front lines of the fight for affordable health care for nearly two decades. She leads health policy communications campaigns at GMMB, working with states, foundations, and nonprofit organizations to promote and protect the Affordable Care Act, expand Medicaid, and advance other priorities.

MANAGING DIRECTORS

  • Ben Hawkins:  Ben forms deep partnerships with clients to lead breakthrough creative branding and integrated marketing campaigns advocating for issues such as cancer research, clean air, emergency preparedness, maternal health, and tobacco prevention.
  • Don Corrigan:  Don’s experienced leadership of award-winning, high profile creative campaigns helps clients make positive change on issues that matter, from health coverage and voter education to prescription drug prices and support for family caregivers.
  • Sandy Won: Sandy has more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications planning and advocacy. Sandy brings her expertise and leadership to work with foundations, nonprofit organizations and government agencies to promote healthier children and families.
