Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), an international public relations agency, has won the global agency of record mandate for international hearing aid manufacturer, GN Hearing.
H+K London will provide strategic counsel and deliver purpose-driven creative campaigns through a long-term partnership for GN Hearing, which recently celebrated its 150th year.
Based in Denmark, GN Hearing has a rich history of creating hearing aids and is committed to making life sound better for millions of people with hearing loss around the world. The company continues to drive change and set new standards for technology, with individuals at the heart.
Marie Schleimann Nordlund, Head of PR, Media and Communication of GN Hearing, said, “H+K pitched us some refreshingly creative ideas, and clearly demonstrated a shared passion for innovating with purpose. They stood out for their depth of healthcare and technology expertise, combined with behavioural science and creative services, providing the ideal combination to be our long-term partner.”
H+K will work on the business’ brand ReSound, helping to change the way hearing technology is valued and addressing stigma associated with hearing aids.
“Losing your hearing uniquely impacts your connection to others—so to work with an organisation like GN Hearing, who tackles this issue in a way that changes people’s lives, is especially gratifying. This partnership perfectly marries with our ‘people not patients’ thinking, keeping humans at the centre of health. I’m excited and confident that together we are going to push the boundaries of what’s possible,” commented Jessica Walsh, Managing Director of H+K’s Healthcare practice in London.
