Greenlaw promoted to VP for Public Relations, Influencer Marketing at Rinck Advertising

by | Aug 4, 2021

Katie Greenlaw, APR, has been promoted to Vice President for Public Relations and Influencer Marketing at Rinck Advertising, a full-service marketing agency with offices in Lewiston, Maine; Annapolis, Maryland; and, since March 2020, virtually everywhere.

Greenlaw joined Rinck in 2011 and formerly held the title of Director of Public Relations. During her time with the agency, she has developed and executed award-winning public relations and influencer campaigns for regional, national, and international quick-serve restaurants, food, beauty, pet and other consumer packaged goods brands as well as transportation, hospitality, financial services, higher education and non-profit organizations.

Greenlaw’s team of public relations professionals has grown to include experts in emerging media including influencer and affiliate marketing. Together with Rinck’s content marketing team, Greenlaw was instrumental in developing Rinck’s Studio which is a dynamically integrative practice inclusive of owned, earned, leased, and affiliate platforms.

“The industry is experiencing seismic changes in traditional public relations,” said agency President, Laura Rinck. “Katie recognized this years ago and began redefining our practice to be inclusive of both traditional and non-traditional media platforms such as influencers, brand ambassadors, and affiliate marketers, and worked strategically to integrate and amplify our PR efforts with paid and owned media programs for our clients. Katie’s department is highly effective because she works with all disciplines throughout the agency and never executes in a silo. Through her leadership and vision, public relations—in all its various forms—is integrated into all campaigns. The results have been exponentially successful for our clients, and we are tremendously grateful for the strategic leadership Katie brings to the team and our clients every day.”

In her role, Greenlaw serves as a member of the agency executive leadership team and leads a team of professionals who deliver top-notch brand strategy, corporate PR, content creation, media relations, experiential marketing, cause marketing, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, and brand reputation monitoring services to local, national, and international clients. Greenlaw also leads Rinck’s client crisis communications strategy and has developed and executed crisis response plans for small and large businesses and nonprofits. Her attention to detail, strategic thinking, and ability to counsel clients both in planning stages and in moments of crisis are invaluable to Rinck clients.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to work with a team of such brilliant, creative, and innovative professionals here at Rinck,” Greenlaw said. “Our client roster and range of services means no two days are alike and I am honored to have the opportunity to create some impactful and meaningful campaigns on behalf of some of the world’s top brands, right from my beautiful home state of Maine.”

Greenlaw earned the Accreditation in Public Relations credential from the Public Relations Society of America in 2011. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration both from Thomas College in Maine. She is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and lives in Greene with her husband, two children and their two dogs.
