H+K supports the 100th Birthday of Aperol

Hill+Knowlton Strategies invited media and influencers from 25 markets around the world to celebrate the 100th Birthday of Aperol in Venice with a series of activities and collaborations using art, music and, of course, Aperol Spritz. Launching “Grazie Veneto” (“thank you Veneto”), Aperol joined forces with three artists – Finnano Fenno (Italy), Dominic Keserton (UK) and Molly Egan (USA) – to unveil three bespoke sofas to the public in Central Cavour Square in Padova, the birthplace of the brand.

H+K assists Westfield London launch the UK’s first AI data driven Trending Store

H+K UK’s Retail + Leisure team launched The Trending Store at Westfield London – a fashion pop-up boutique stocking fashion-forward looks based on what’s trending across social media in real time. H+K onboarded AI partner NextAtlas which scanned almost half a million data points from around the globe to find trend innovators to establish which items will be trending in the near future. The Trending Store was the first fashion space to have its entire contents sourced by trending data, with stock changing on a daily basis. All proceeds from the store went to Save the Children, Westfield London’s charity partner.

H+K helps HSBC launch their annual league table of best places to live and work

HSBC’s 12th annual league table of the best places to live and work was launched by H+K UK’s Financial and Professional Services practice. The head of HSBC Expat was interviewed on Bloomberg TV and at the end of day one, the team has recorded 92 pieces of coverage in 10 markets, with highlights including Bloomberg, FT, Monocle, CNBC, Business Insider and Quartz. H+K hosts yoga class with FIJI Water

H+K China helped FIJI Water host a yoga class and food session event in partnership with Pure Yoga at Shanghai Century Mall, creating an exclusive yoga experience for key lifestyle media guests, KOLs, FIJI Water followers and members of Pure Yoga. The collaboration between FIJI Water (the high-end imported bottled brand), and Pure Yoga (a leading yoga community brand), inspires people to find purity and peace in our life.

H+K launches Lilly Short Film Promotion campaign

H+K China’s healthcare team provided insightful PR counselling on the Chinese healthcare industry to assist in the launch the Short Film Promotion campaign for Lilly China. This campaign conveyed the brand’s objectives: Integrity, Excellence and Respect for People. Through its in-depth media collaborations and continual PR communications, H+K developed the original short film into separate short films and included more key opinion leaders’ endorsements in their content.

H+K partners with the Quebec Cancer Foundation for a standup campaign

H+K Montreal recently partnered with the Quebec Cancer Foundation to launch its new campaign #fautquecasorte (it has come out). Whenever cancer strikes, anger is often the first feeling generated, so the Foundation wanted to change the tone by encouraging people to let out their anger. H+K recruited local Quebec celebrities to ‘’let it all out’’ in another F&$?@%! video, wear the campaign t-shirt and spread the word on their social channels.

H+K helps Travelzoo come to life as a “Travelling Zoo”

Travelzoo tasked H+K China with developing a memorable communications platform for the brand and boosting share-of-voice in online travel conversations, as well growing Travelzoo’s official WeChat account (with little-to-no ad or influencer spend). H+K decided to make the Travelzoo more resonant by visually and memorably bringing it to life in the simplest way possible: Travelzoo as a “Travelling Zoo.” 

H+K goes Ultra Low in the UK

H+K UK worked with Go Ultra Low, the joint government and industry campaign to promote the uptake of electric vehicles (EVs), on a campaign to celebrate the extensiveness of the EV chargepoint network in the UK. To do this, H+K and Go Ultra Low commissioned photographs of chargepoints in picturesque and unexpected locations. 

H+K Poland’s CEO has been elected ICCO’s next VP

H+K Poland CEO, Grzegorz Szczepanski, has been elected the next Vice President in the recent ICCO Officer election. This nomination comes as Grzegorz concludes his second cadency as the President of the Polish PR Consultancy Association, giving him the opportunity to stay in the main professional course further.

H+K’s New Hires

  • Lara Holmes joins H+K in our New York office where she will be Director of Administration to the Global Chairman and CEO, AnnaMaria DeSalva. Lara was previously the Senior Director of Administration at Viant Technology.
  • Noor Kheir joins H+K UK as Managing Director. Noor joins H+K from Edelman, where she held the role of global digital lead and integrated lead. She has more than 15 years of consumer and corporate communications experience.
  • Joe Adam George joins H+K as a senior consultant. Joe joins H+K with several years of PR agency experience in India, where he worked on a variety of corporate client files.
  • Chiara Paola Basile joins H+K Italy as a Consultant. Chiara has extensive communications experience in content creation and events management, and was most recently working for The Producer International.
  • Imogen Turner joined H+K UK as Business Development Manager. Imogen previously worked at M&C Saatchi across Marketing, New Business and PR and prior to Saatchi, worked at Freuds for two years.
