IPR Announces Fortune CEO Alan Murray Is the 2022 IPR Distinguished Lecturer

Alan Murray, CEO of Fortune Media, has been selected as the 2022 Institute for Public Relations Distinguished Lecturer at the 60th IPR Annual Distinguished Lecture and Awards Dinner on December 1 at Current at Chelsea Piers in New York City.  Murray, the author of Tomorrow’s Capitalist: My Search for the Soul of Business, cohosts a weekly podcast, Leadership Next, and pens CEO Daily, a popular daily business newsletter.

“We are delighted that Alan will join us to share his perspective on the ever-changing business landscape and the forces and organizations that are shaping its future,” said Stacey Jones, IPR Chair and head of corporate communications at Accenture. “The IPR Distinguished Lecture and Awards Dinner promises to be an unforgettable evening, dialoguing with Alan and celebrating current and future leaders who are making a real difference in the profession.”

More than 250 professionals typically attend the IPR Annual Distinguished Lecture and Awards Dinner to support the mission of IPR, a nonprofit organization focused on research that matters to the public relations and communication profession. This event is the largest annual fundraiser for IPR, supported by many IPR Trustees and ELEVATE members, who are senior executives from global corporate, agency, nonprofit, and academic organizations. Along with the Lecture, the event honors leaders in the profession with lifetime achievement awards and students with research awards.

Tickets to the event are $550 each and tables of 10 can be purchased for $5,500, and a limited number of premium tables (with additional sponsor benefits) of 10 are available for $10,000. The price includes a networking cocktail reception, the awards dinner, and the Distinguished Lecture.
