Kate Charles joins Lippe Taylor in newly created role of chief planning officer

Lippe Taylor, the New York-based Digital PR and Marketing agency, has announced the hiring of Kate Charles (née Paulin) as the agency’s new Chief Planning Officer. Charles brings extensive experience across market research, media planning, advertising, and digital marketing. She joins the agency after having served as Chief Strategy Officer at healthcare agency Seiden, and is best known for having been Head of Insights & Planning at 360i during the agency’s dramatic rise and success.

In the newly created role, Kate will be charged with leveraging the agency’s unique strengths in Earned Creative, Analytics, and Social Media to deliver powerful programs for the world’s best brands.  Her addition reinforces the agency’s commitment to its current strategy of investing in talent to maintain growth even during the pandemic. The agency has now added a dozen new hires since shutdown first initiated.

In the last five years, Kate has overseen award-winning Analytics and Planning efforts, with recognitions including the ARF’s David Ogilvy Gold and coveted Grand Prix for the Lean Cuisine #weighthis campaign and the WOMMA Gold award for the #FollowYourNola to help increase tourism for the city of New Orleans. She is herself a member of the exclusive women’s executive network, Chief, and has been recognized as a GENNEXT leader for She Runs It (formerly Advertising Women of New York). She is a frequent industry speaker on the topics of social media, consumer behavior, and understanding Millennials and Gen-Z.

At Lippe Taylor, she will report to CEO, Paul Dyer, and oversee the agency’s Analytics capability, which also welcomed the addition of Sarah Rose this week. Rose joins Lippe Taylor after spending seven years at Edelman, where she focused primarily on Analytics and Strategy in the consumer technology sector.
