Thompson & Bender, Westchester-based advertising and public relations agency, has announced the addition of Kerry Tropeano as Marketing and Communications Director. Tropeano, a Westchester native, joins Thompson & Bender from Saks Fifth Avenue, where she oversaw the development, planning and execution of public relations and image-building strategies.

Tropeano will oversee communications strategies for T&B’s diverse client roster and serve as a liaison with the agency’s account teams to ensure client goals are being met.

Prior to joining Saks, Tropeano was director of North American public relations at Tiffany & Co., where she secured top-tier national and international coverage for key brands, executed product launches and managed strategy development for digital brand activations as well as celebrity relationships.

A seasoned professional with a career spanning nearly 20 years, Tropeano previously managed business public relations at Major League Baseball where she developed and maintained a proactive media strategy to promote various business initiatives. Earlier in her career she was director of marketing communications for Nielson Media Research and worked in marketing for Nickelodeon.

“Kerry brings a wealth of experience and talents to our agency,” said Elizabeth Bracken-Thompson, a partner at Thompson & Bender. “Her extensive knowledge will directly benefit our clients, elevating their visibility and exposure in our communities, and connecting them with their target audiences.”
