Independent home improvement/building materials marketing and PR agency Kleber & Associates has, unlike other agencies that become jack-of-all-trades shops, maintained their original mission and focus and is now reaping the benefits as evidenced by their new national AOR client wins, including: CertainTeed Roofing, The Tile Doctor and LUXE LinearDrains.
And the good news keeps breaking, as Steve Kleber, current president of the National Remodeling Foundation, will be a 2019 inductee to the Global Opportunity Board of the National Association of Homebuilders.
The Sandy Springs-based agency recently celebrated 30 years of focusing exclusively on “building better brands that build better homes and buildings.” This pinpoint focus on a market space about which they are passionate (rifle as opposed to shot gun), even during turbulent times, has been of increasing interest to CMOs and potential clients.
Kleber endured the first housing crisis by staying the course. The agency experienced growth and earnings that were in direct juxtaposition to the ongoing real estate/mortgage crisis.
Now as housing market challenges continue and uncertainty points to a tough year for homebuyers, according to Realtor.com’s chief economist. In fact, Trulia’s senior economist in the same article predicts “Rising mortgage rates will take a bite out of affordability on top of an already supply-constrained and high-priced housing market.” Just the other day news of unusually large 6.4 percent drop in existing home sales was another indicator of turbulence—the kind that drives many home owners to stay put and remodel.
