Lippe Taylor, the New York-based PR and Digital Marketing agency, announced the hiring of Manvir Kalsi as the agency’s new SVP, Insights & Planning. Kalsi brings both client and agency experience, most notably as a long-time research and insights leader at Samsung Electronics America. At Lippe Taylor, he will be leading the Insights & Planning team, which includes analytics, qualitative and quantitative research and customized strategic solutions for clients.

This hire continues the significant investment in senior talent that has helped bolster the firm to record growth in analytics and record revenue for the agency in 2019. Lippe Taylor is now positioned for its fifth consecutive year of double-digit growth.

“The hiring of Manvir is part of our ongoing pursuit of the best and brightest talent in the industry. As we’ve evolved, analytics and strategic planning are vital to what clients expect from us today. Manvir is another example of giving best-in-class talent a home to thrive and do valuable work for some of the world’s best brands,” said agency founder and CEO, Maureen Lippe. “We believe we have a special combination of team continuity and fresh thinking that is driving our success.”

Kalsi expresses his enthusiasm for joining Lippe Taylor by saying, “It’s rare to find an agency that really puts analytics in the center of the offering. The emphasis on using analytics to inspire creative thinking, coupled with the agency’s collaborative culture and growth trajectory, is really what drew me to this opportunity.”

Manvir Kalsi spent over ten years at Samsung Electronics America in roles that spanned from Regional Head of Consumer Market & Insights to Head of Research, North America Innovation. In his time at Samsung, Kalsi designed growth-opportunity based segmentations to support marketing strategy; standardized a research process to manage “end-to-end” innovation projects including ideation, prototype development, consumer validation, opportunity assessment, concept selection and go-to-market plans; and oversaw all research for Mobile, IoT, Home Entertainment, Home Appliance, and Mobile Computing categories. Prior to Samsung, he was a research analyst at Knowledge Networks (GFK) where his clients included Novartis, Pepsi, Burger King, Procter & Gamble, Colgate, Home Depot, SIRIUS, Walmart and CarMax.
