Mower closes out 2023 with major industry honors

National advertising and public relations leaders have all recognized Mower with various industry awards

NEW YORK—December 11, 2023Mower, a leading independent marketing, advertising and public relations agency, has had a successful 2023 award season, securing top recognitions from major industry organizations. Most recently, The Drum Awards for B2B 2023, PRWeek Best Places to Work and the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) 2023 Adrian Awards have all recognized Mower for various client and agency work, supporting Mower’s reputation as a leading independent agency. Throughout 2023, Mower has dominated the industry award scene, taking home more than 70 accolades from leading industry organizations, including Mower CEO Stephanie Crocket being named to PoliticsNY and amNY’s Power Players in PR & Lobby list and Mower being ranked among the top agencies by Ragan and PRNews.

The Drum Awards for B2B 2023, a global program honoring the companies and people around the world that bring creativity to B2B marketing, honored Mower’s creative work on two campaigns for longtime energy client FirstEnergy. The FirstEnergy “Light The Way” campaign was recognized as the best campaign in the TV and Film category, while its “Drone Safety Zone Racing Game” campaign won in the best Data & Insights category. FirstEnergy’s “Drone Safety Zone Racing Game” was also just shortlisted for an Indie Award in the Innovation Excellence category.

PRWeek named Mower to its 2023 Best Places to Work list in the Midsize Agency category. The annual listing strives to recognize organizations with positive work cultures that make employees feel valued and motivated. Mower’s 2022 decision to become 100% employee owned, as well as the exciting clients and priority for mental health were cited as top reasons for Mower’s selection. Mower is one of eight midsize agencies to be recognized, and this marks the agency’s second consecutive honor by PRWeek

Mower’s notable public relations and social media work did not go unnoticed this year, taking home nine 2023 Adrian Awards from HSMAI. Distinguished clients, including Westchester County Tourism & Film and Lake House on Canandaigua in New York, Pebble Beach Resorts in California, Preidlhof Wellness Resort in Italy, and Selina, were honored with silver and bronze awards for outstanding PR and influencer marketing campaigns, demonstrating Mower’s capabilities as a leading public relations powerhouse.
