Rachel Harrison Communications has been named the agency of record for several boutique spirit brands and distilleries including Salcombe Distilling Co., Laws Whiskey House, and Ojo de Tigre Mezcal Artesanal.
Salcombe Distilling Co. (Devon, England): Salcombe Distilling Co., located in the stunning coastal town of Salcombe, ‘hand crafts’ exceptional ‘small batch’ gins at its waterside distillery; one of the world’s only distilleries directly accessible by boat. Salcombe Distilling Co. launched its international multi-award-winning gin brand Salcombe Gin in the US this Fall, with the introduction of two exceptional signature gins. Salcombe Gin ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’ and Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’ are both Double Gold San Francisco World Spirits medal winners and are now available in New York, New England, and Connecticut. Inspired by the coastal vitality of Salcombe and its shipbuilding heritage, Salcombe Gin is distilled with an unrivaled passion, care and attention to detail using only the finest ingredients and is blended with naturally soft water from Dartmoor National Park to create exceptionally smooth gins.
Laws Whiskey House (Denver, Colorado): Established in 2011, Laws Whiskey House is a purpose driven, grain to bottle whiskey distillery founded on the principle that the soul of its whiskey is composed of the people who grow it, the people who make it, and the people who drink it. Using the traditional method of open-air, on grain fermentation, Laws’ whiskeys feature high altitude grown American mother grains and mountain spring water while aging in 53-gallon charred American oak barrels. The portfolio includes an array of award-winning whiskies, including several bottled-in-bond expressions. The latest offering in the brand’s Experiential Barrel Series, and the newest holiday release, Laws Ruby Port Finished Bourbon is available in limited quantities in selected markets for a suggested retail price of $75.
Ojo de Tigre Mezcal Artesanal (Puebla, Mexico):Ojo de Tigre was created by Mexican actor and producer Luis Gerardo Mendez and Casa Lumbre, a distinguished producer of farm-to-bottle Mexican spirits. Meant to redefine expectations of the mezcal category with a less smokey flavor profile, Ojo de Tigre is made from a signature blend of two types of sustainably cultivated agave: Espadín from Oaxaca harvested after seven years, and the rarer, premium Tobalá which matures for between 10-14 years in Puebla.
