rbb Communications, an integrated communications firm and champion of Breakout Brands, has been named the agency of record for Brown & Brown, Inc., the sixth largest insurance intermediary in the world. Brown & Brown chose rbb following an extensive RFP review.  The agency will design and manage a strategic communications program engaging the agency’s PR, digital, social media and creative practices to help further Brown & Brown’s aggressive growth plans and build its long-standing brand.

“Brown & Brown is relentless in its pursuit to anticipate customer needs, exceed expectations and add value every step of the way to protect what people value most,” said Christine Barney, CEO of rbb Communications. “It’s a brand rbb can wrap its arms around employing our full suite of integrated tools and we look forward to enhancing their customer-focused approach and delivering bottom-line results.”

This announcement continues rbb’s momentum over the past 12 months, which has included the introduction of the Reputation & Risk Advisors division and the formalization of the agency’s global healthcare practice; adding a presence in the New York and Los Angeles-metro areas; and record revenue growth.  In addition, the agency earned multiple industry recognitions for delivering award-winning communications work including a PRSA Silver Anvil Award in Multicultural Public Relations and a Platinum Adrian Award in Public Relations from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
