Nashville-based PR and marketing firm elevates key team members and expands offerings
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 10, 2024) – Today, REED, one of Nashville’s leading public relations and marketing agencies, announced a series of notable promotions and new hires, marking a period of significant growth for the firm.
The agency promoted Katherine Green and Tayhlor Blackwell from vice president to senior vice president positions, recognizing their exceptional organizational leadership, client relationship management skills and extensive industry knowledge. These promotions come two years after both individuals joined REED’s leadership team.
“I am thrilled to announce Katherine and Tayhlor’s promotions as they reflect both of their unwavering dedication to our team, clients and agency as a whole,” said Lauren Reed Williams, founder and CEO of REED. “Tayhlor has been instrumental in establishing and leading REED’s team culture and professional development efforts, and Katherine oversees our agency’s internal operations, budgeting and expenses and human resources. They have both been instrumental in fostering successful, long-term client relationships and driving our agency’s growth internally and externally”
In addition to these senior-level advancements, REED promoted Tiffany Buchen from senior account manager to account supervisor. Buchen’s new title acknowledges her vast industry knowledge and strategic contributions to the firm, particularly in social media management and account growth.
The agency is also bolstering its content capabilities by establishing a content division and promoting Kate Shepherd to REED’s first senior content strategist. In this new role, Shepherd will spearhead the development of this program, leveraging her expertise in copywriting, thought leadership and strategic brand messaging.
“Tiffany’s ability to bring high-level strategy to our projects and Kate’s writing prowess and innovative approach to content development have significantly contributed to our team’s success,” Williams said. “Ultimately, these advancements will allow REED to offer even more specialized and comprehensive services to our clients.”
Notably, REED also welcomed two new full-time individuals to the team. Emma Raby joined as an account manager, bringing valuable experience from her previous roles at The Bulleit Group and Pierce PR, and Gracie Hughes joined as an account coordinator after completing an internship at the firm.
“We’re excited to welcome Emma and Gracie to our growing team,” Macey Binner, REED’s president, said. “Both Emma and Gracie’s skills and values align perfectly with our agency’s culture and client-focused approach, and they have already significantly impacted our team and clients. We are excited to continue championing their success!”
These team development advancements were brought about in tandem with significant overall expansion for REED. This growth has extended the firm’s client roster and many aspects of the business, including establishing REED’s first specialized division. Through this evolution, the agency continues strengthening its position in the Nashville market and beyond, particularly through its work with local businesses and hospitality brands.
