R&J Strategic Communications, a full-service integrated marketing and public relations agency, has been named the agency of record for the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey (GSNNJ), the preeminent leadership development organization serving girls ages 5 to 18 in Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and northern Warren counties. Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success in a safe, no-limits place designed for and by girls.
GSNNJ works to achieve this mission by providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for every girl and their families. Through a proactive media relations and thought leadership strategy, R&J will position GSNNJ as the preeminent girls’ leadership development organization in northern New Jersey with the goal of increasing membership and volunteer participation and supporting fundraising efforts while highlighting powerful stories of Girl Scout achievements in leadership.
GSNNJ brings the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to more than 24,000 girls and nearly 13,000 adult members across northern New Jersey. Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, girls gain fundamental skills in four areas that form the foundation of the experience: STEM, Outdoors, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship.
