San Francisco’s Knox Communications Adds Expertise to PRConsultants Group Network

PRConsultants Group recently announced the addition of a new member, John Knox, principal of San Francisco, CA-based Knox Communications.

“Having Knox Communications as a resource for the San Francisco area is invaluable to our group,” said PRCG President Gary Young. “Knox Communications brings its capabilities and extensive knowledge of the San Francisco area to PRCG’s nationwide network.”

The PRConsultants Group, founded in 2000, is made up of senior-level public relations and marketing consultants representing top markets in the United States. Its unique collaborative model allows PRCG members to work together and separately on projects, offering ‘on the ground’ experience in their local markets to clients’ regional and national public relations initiatives.

A seasoned professional with more than three decades of public relations and marketing communications expertise, John Knox’s extensive client history ranges from not-for-profit community agencies to Fortune 500 corporations. Specializing in communications strategy and implementation for clients in the health care industry, Knox’s areas of expertise include strategic communications planning and counseling, media relations, crisis communications, writing and editing for digital and print, community relations, and editorial project management.

Knox has earned numerous awards from the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators, and the Catholic Health Association. Knox is a past chair of the Public Relations Round Table and the Independent Communicators Roundtable. Knox serves as board vice president of Hyde Street Community Services.
