Schwartz Media Strategies Adds Four New Team Members to its Real Estate, Professional Services & Public Affairs Practices

Schwartz Media Strategies, an integrated communications firm in Miami, has added four professionals to its team. Jaclyn Messina, Kelly Magee, Lucas Seiler and Victoria Cela have been tapped to bolster the firm’s growing professional services, public affairs and real estate practices. They will counsel a client roster that includes Walmart, JLL, The Florida Bar, Skanska USA, the Miami Downtown Development Authority, and law firm Bilzin Sumberg.

Since its founding in 2005, Schwartz Media Strategies has grown to become one of Florida’s largest communications firms, offering services ranging from public relations and crisis communications, to digital marketing and social media. The firm’s public and private sector clients reflect the diversity of Florida’s statewide economy, with an emphasis on commercial and residential real estate, hospitality, banking and finance, professional services, arts and culture, and public affairs.

  • Jaclyn Messinaserves as Vice President, developing and executing strategic media relations and digital marketing initiatives for clients in the legal, accounting, hospitality and wealth management sectors. Previously, Messina worked with a Miami-based communications firms, where she focused on legal, technology, and commercial real estate clients. Prior to that, she served as a writer and producer for CNN and WNYW FOX 5 in New York City.
  • Kelly Mageejoins as an Account Director, developing campaign strategies, conducting proactive media outreach and managing client relations for the firm’s real estate and public affair clients. Prior to joining the firm, Magee worked with full-service communications and public affairs consultancies in Miami and New York City. She’s also held several positions in New York City government, including spokesperson for the Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and Department of Buildings.
  • Lucas Seiler serves as a Senior Account Executive, delivering media relations and thought leadership expertise to the firm’s professional services and consumer clients. A former journalist, Seiler brings more than 10 years of experience in broadcast news. He served as an anchor, reporter, producer, writer and photographer covering politics, government, court and environmental issues for NBC affiliate WBBH.
  • Victoria Cela joins as an Account Coordinator, assisting the firm’s integrated communications programs with a focus on media relations. Her focus is in the hospitality, real estate and municipal sectors. Cela earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida.

The past year has seen Schwartz Media Strategies continue its trajectory of steady growth. New clients include The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District, Key West’s Havana Cabana Resort. The firm has also been recognized on South Florida Business Journal 2018 list of the region’s largest public relations firms, as ranked by earned revenue in 2017.  Schwartz Media Strategies comes in at #8, capping three straight years in the annual list’s top-10. The firm has also been ranked as a top public relations firm for five consecutive years by the Daily Business Review.
