by | Apr 2, 2018

SHIFT Communications, an integrated communications firm, announced the hire of Jennifer Purcell as Vice President. Purcell will lead the SHIFT Austin office, which celebrated its third year in the Austin market in January, with responsibility for ensuring account management meets our high standards of service.

“SHIFT’s ability to fuse analytical and creative thinking into one bold approach to storytelling is truly unique,” said Purcell. “I’m excited to join such a great team, and look forward to expanding our footprint locally, nationally and internationally.”

Prior to joining SHIFT, Purcell spent several years in-house at SunPower and Bazaarvoice after twelve years in the agency world. A majority of her collective experience is in the technology space, including consumer tech, SaaS and semiconductors, and for-profit and non-profit healthcare. She also has a good mix of CPG, energy and education industries under her belt.

Jennifer also serves as the Committee Chair for the Central Texas Food Bank’s Austin Restaurant Weeks, and is passionate about giving back to the Austin community.

“We’re thrilled to have Jennifer join our team,” said Amy Lyons, Managing Partner, SHIFT Communications. “Jennifer has a proven track record driving results for companies at every stage of their evolution, coupled with a strong network in the Texas market. We are confident she will be a great addition to the Austin office, driving continued growth for us in a key market.”
