Talya Mirkin brings 17 years of experience in PR and marketing to her new role at BMF as Earned Practice Lead, with tenures both in-house and through leading agencies in Southern California. With a honed skill set of hospitality and food & beverage garnered through a 6-year tenure at Wagstaff Media & Marketing, past marquee clients include Patina Restaurant Group’s 22 West Coast restaurants and annual projects such as the Creative Arts and Primetime Emmys Governor Ball and the Hollywood Bowl food offerings. Additional clients highlights include Petrossian’s West Hollywood location and the opening of the caviar brand’s outpost at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX, among countless community-focused restaurants throughout the Greater Los Angeles region.
Adding to her expertise in hospitality/food, past CPG clients include 4th & Heart, Alpha Foods, Deep Indian Kitchen, among others during her tenure at Konnect Agency, followed by account management at leading Orange County agency, The Brand Amp, where she guided earned media results for a variety of lifestyle brands including Exer Urgent Care, Skout’s Honor, Acoustik Attak, and Basil Street.
Prior to her work within the Southern California-based agencies, Talya held roles within the marketing department at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel for seven years.
