The Abbi Agency Hires Brian Baluta as Vice President of Client Strategy

The Abbi Agency has announced the hiring of Brian Baluta as vice president of client strategy. Formerly the communication director at the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Baluta will bolster both the multi-media agency’s research and strategy-based ethos, as well as its suite of economic development services to help forward-thinking clients succeed.

“Brian’s skill set and experience will prove invaluable for our team as we move closer to 2019,” said Abbi Agency Co-Founder Abbi Whitaker. “He is deeply connected to the Nevada business community, he truly understands the B2B market and he has extensive economic development experience. His policy-driven approach will offer our clients an inside track that otherwise wouldn’t have been available to them.”

Baluta brings nearly two decades of global, national, state and local experience in communications, policy and public affairs to the agency, contributing a high level of strategy to its economic development and business offerings. His contributions will allow the Abbi Agency to continue to deliver cutting-edge digital strategies and insight to their clients and partners.

An expert in strategic and crisis communications, Baluta’s career has spanned the private and public sectors. While overseeing communications for three members of congress, a U.S. Senate candidate and federal law enforcement agencies, he clarified complex policy positions, proactively managed media relations and lead sophisticated campaigns to reach diverse audiences. In his most recent post, Baluta was an integral part of Nevada’s respected economic development agency, which included the cultivation of a multi-channel marketing budget.

He joins the rankings of other high-profile additions to the agency’s leadership team, notably Chief Creative Office Michael Leonardini, who joined The Abbi Agency in January. Leonardini has brought roughly twenty years of experience at the forefront of national and international marketing and branding initiatives to the firm.

Considering the meteoric growth that Nevada has experienced over recent years, Baluta’s insight into the amenities, services and competitive advantages that communities must provide to attract today’s companies will prove to be invaluable to the agency’s team and clients.
