The Brandman Agency announced that the future InterContinental San Diego is the newest addition to its worldwide luxury travel and lifestyle portfolio. Redefining the San Diego waterfront and ushering in a wave of sophistication to the downtown area, the forthcoming hotel will begin welcoming guests upon opening its doors this September.
With a pristine coastal location looking out to the San Diego Bay, five distinctive on-property dining outlets, 95,000 square feet of meeting space, and impeccable service synonymous of the InterContinental brand, InterContinental San Diego is poised to be the new luxurious, urban retreat and social epicenter of downtown.

InterContinental San Diego will feature five distinct dining venues overlooking the water, including Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, a signature lobby-level restaurant with an open kitchen, 19th floor rooftop bar, pool bar, and café. The expansive 4th floor rooftop pool and sun deck allow unobstructed bay and sunset vistas, with plenty of space for lounging and soaking them in.
Expanding their footprint into San Diego, the world’s first international luxury hotel brand—InterContinental Hotels & Resorts—will be growing its Southern California presence, where they currently operate the recently opened InterContinental Los Angeles, Downtown and InterContinental Los Angeles, Century City.
