by | Aug 3, 2022

The Dana Agency, a luxury lifestyle public relations agency with offices in Miami, New York and Los Angeles, announces today the appointment of Paula Gomez as Vice President. In this role, she will help manage the recent growth of the firm’s national real estate and hospitality portfolio. Paula brings more than 15 years of experience developing and executing successful communications campaigns for global and award-winning brands across myriad industries.

“Over the years, The Dana Agency has worked closely with Paula on a number of projects, including the successful relaunch of Miami’s Española Way. We are excited to welcome her onto our team to serve as Vice President at a moment of monumental growth for both the firm and Miami, which has become one of the most important cities in America,” said Dana Rhoden Baren, Founder and President of The Dana Agency. “Florida’s recovery from the pandemic has been strong, stimulating a real estate boom and record recovery of the hospitality sector. Paula’s experience in real estate, specifically with the Miami Downtown Development Authority, the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District and Miami Worldcenter, coupled with her hospitality background, which includes serving as in-house PR for the legendary Fontainebleau Miami Beach, will be a tremendous asset to our luxury lifestyle portfolio, which includes the launch of the first hotel in Wynwood, Miami’s preeminent creative and cultural district.”

Paula’s extensive experience in the hospitality sector includes serving as the lead strategist for the Cancun Convention & Visitors Bureau and managing communications for a number of hotel brands, including Trump National Doral, AMResorts, Palace Resorts, Oasis Hotels & Resorts and Homewood Suites by Hilton. She also served as in-house public relations manager for Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Between 2015-2018, as The Dana Agency was growing its hospitality division, Paula collaborated with the firm, sharing her hotel and destination marketing experience. Together, they worked with clients such as Española Way, The National Hotel, Islamorada Resort Company and the Pullman Miami Airport Hotel.

“I have known and admired Dana and her firm for many years, so I’m thrilled to be joining her amazing team,” said Paula. “Professionally, she has built a reputable agency representing marquee clients while prioritizing her team and workplace culture. Personally, she is the salt of the earth – smart and driven but also kind and free-spirited. It is an absolute honor to join The Dana Agency, and I look forward to helping the firm expand its real estate offerings.”
