The PHA Group announced that its Entrepreneurs and Business division will be working with InstaVolt, leading owner-operated network of public rapid electric vehicle chargers.
Following a competitive pitch process, The PHA Group secured a press office and strategic communications brief to promote InstaVolt’s award-winning offering to consumers across the UK and to amplify the growing business’s public profile.
Ahead of the Government’s 2030 ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles, the UK’s charging infrastructure is under increased scrutiny: with rapid charging more in demand than ever and businesses realising the benefits of installing charge points on their premises.
InstaVolt’s appointment of The PHA Group comes at an important time of growth for the business: it has plans to deliver 5,000 chargers by 2025. Last month InstaVolt installed over 60 of its rapid chargers, and recently opened the UK’s largest public rapid charging motorway hub. The company has signed deals with several high-profile corporate partners, including McDonald’s, Booths supermarkets, KFC and The Bannatyne Group, and communicating the commercial benefits of rapid chargers in ‘destination’ locations is a key part of plans for 2021.
Commenting on the appointment, InstaVolt’s CEO Adrian Keen says: “We’re delighted to be working with The PHA Group at such an exciting time of growth for InstaVolt. The EV industry is at a tipping point, and it’s our job to ensure we’re communicating with consumers in a way that encourages the shift to electric and addresses key concerns relating to charging infrastructure. The team showed huge enthusiasm for the business and an expertise in the EV sector that shone through. We’re confident in their ability to support our combined corporate and consumer communications goals as we scale up our charging infrastructure nationwide.”
Mimi Brown, Head of the Entrepreneurs and Business division at The PHA Group comments: “InstaVolt’s unrivalled offering in the electric vehicle sector gives it a fantastic opportunity to raise its profile at a time when consumer and government interest is heightened. The whole team is passionate about supporting businesses who are making reaching Net Zero a reality, and InstaVolt is one of those companies solving a very real problem for drivers. We’re looking forward to building the reputation of the senior team, their partners and brand throughout 2021 – with a full service press office and creative campaigns.”
