Entertainment marketing agency Think Jam has appointed Richard Ngo-Tran as Executive Vice President based in Los Angeles.
In his new executive position at Think Jam, Ngo-Tran will be leading the agency operations and growth strategy in the US. He will oversee the North American business and work internationally with its London headquarters on creative ventures, strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities worldwide. With the consolidation of studios such as Disney/Fox and mergers such as AT&T/Warner Bros, Think Jam is continuing to stay ahead of the industry with strategic operational moves in order to navigate the changing entertainment landscape.
Ngo-Tran began his career in the 1990s at CBS Network Radio in Los Angeles before joining NBC Network Television in New York. After stints at Harman International, Gibson Brands and Avid Technology, he launched culture and lifestyle agency Initiate Inc., which led creative engagement marketing efforts for brands such as Disney, Converse, Microsoft and Spotify. After its acquisition by a media conglomerate in 2014, Ngo-Tran exited and began management consulting for various brands from artists to athletes, entertainment to technology.
“Daniel’s vision for expanding the agency with creative ventures and entering new verticals is extremely exciting, especially with the talented team and amazing company culture he’s created,” said Ngo-Tran.
“I’m really excited about Richard’s arrival,” said Daniel Robey, CEO at Think Jam “There is so much potential for us to develop the business in the US. Richard’s experience and knowledge of the market will enable us to build on the success we’ve had and create opportunities in new verticals.”
Richard’s arrival coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Think Jam Los Angeles, which will include a private event celebration for friends and partners in late-November. Recent US client wins include new retainers and titles with Disney and Universal.
