McCarthy’s more than a dozen years of experience working with innovative companies is preceded by a 12-year career as a journalist.

McCarthy has launched businesses and new products for a wide-ranging group of tech, consumer, non-profit and healthcare companies over the course of his career. Prior to joining the agency, McCarthy held communications roles in-house and at agencies, leading accounts in a diverse group of fields. As a journalist, he wrote for The Worcester Business Journal, The Norwalk Hour and Simba Information as well as several smaller newspaper outlets covering government, business, legal and financial news.
