Wellable Selects Allen & Gerritsen as PR Agency Partner

by | Feb 14, 2020

Allen & Gerritsen (A&G) announced that Wellable, a company that helps employers manage next-generation corporate wellness initiatives, has selected the agency to be its external public relations partner.

Wellable, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Boston, has tasked A&G with building brand awareness for the company driven by industry thought leadership related to corporate wellness.

Wellable designs employee wellness experiences for companies, which include wellness challenges, health content, smoking cessation, and wellness services. The company’s wellness challenges–such as step challenges, sleeping challenges, and purpose challenges–integrate with all major consumer wellness apps and wearable devices. Wellable’s health content is delivered through text messages, print flyers, and email newsletters, and its in-person wellness services include experiences such as fitness classes, health coaching, and healthy meal preparation.

“Wellable looks at employee wellness differently than others in our category,” said Nick Patel, Founder and CEO of Wellable. “For instance, we don’t believe in biometric screenings, which are typically associated with workplace wellness programs. Instead, we are very focused on ‘whole-person’ wellness and emphasize priorities related to not only physical fitness, but also mental health, sleep, financial well-being, nutrition, and much more. We’re excited to be working with A&G to spread the message about the efficacy of our unique approach.”

“We are ecstatic to be working with Wellable, a company that is championing both mental and physical wellness as a core component of workplace wellness,” said Brenna Fitzgerald, SVP, Public Relations at A&G. “Wellable seeks to help employers alleviate the stress and burnout that affect so many workers, and we’re honored to spread the word of the great work the company is doing.”

Wellable’s customers include health plans, sports teams, and employers.
