WordWrite Communications, one of Pittsburgh’s fastest-growing strategic communications consultancies, has hired Diana Dugina as Creative Director.

As leader of WordWrite’s creative department, Diana will be responsible for overseeing all facets of comprehensive branding initiatives, digital and traditional print advertising, and broadcast creative direction.

“In the 21st century, public relations has evolved to include full creative services,” said Paul Furiga, President and CEO of WordWrite Communications. “With Diana, we will grow our creative department. WordWrite now provides seamless services in creative, art and design direction to our clients, meaning we can fully execute the PESO model of paid, earned, social and owned content.”

WordWrite Communications, LLC is ranked first or second among Pennsylvania-based public relations firms across multiple categories in the 2017 O’Dwyer’s national PR agency rankings.

O’Dwyer’s magazine is the No. 1 publication for public relations and marketing communications professionals. Both the New York Times and Washington Post describe it as the “bible” of PR.

Diana brings an extensive range of award-winning client experiences on national and corporate accounts from Stouffers Foods to Bayer Corporation, Duquesne Light and PPG Industries. She also defined and branded many of Pittsburgh’s entrepreneurial startups, including Perlora, Mansions on Fifth and Ariel Precision Medicine.

Early in her career, Diana rose quickly at Della Femina McNamee, and went on to found a three-person creative boutique, The Ad Farm. She later broadened her strategic creative and design direction skills during 11 years at Dymun + Co. Before joining WordWrite, Diana was an independent creative and art director through her own firm.
