Los Angeles Times: appoints Jim Kirk (@kirkjim12) as Interim Editor, replacing Davan Maharaj, who left. Maharaj also served as publisher. Replacing him in that role is Ross Levinsohn (@rosslevinsohn).

New York Times, The: Thessaly La Force (@Thessaly) has been appointed Features Director. Ben Casselman (@bencasselman) joins as an Economics Reporter for Business Day. Tiffany Hsu also joins as a Breaking News Reporter for Business Day.

National, The: will launch on November 6th. Adrienne Arsenault, Ian Hanomansing, Andrew Chang and Rosemary Barton (@CBCTheNational) are Hosts.
