Financial Times: promotes Peter Spiegel (@SpiegelPeter) to U.S. Managing Editor, effective April 15.

Los Angeles Times: hires Stuart Emmrich (@StuartEmmrichNY) as Assistant Managing Editor for Lifestyle.

Reuters America: Peter Bohan (@reuters) has left.

Rochester Democrat and Chronicle: Karen Magnuson (@kmagnuson) has left.

San Francisco Chronicle: hires Shwanika Narayan (@Shwanika) as Business Reporter. She will cover retail business and logistics.

Washington Post: moves Griff Witte (@griffwitte) to the National section. He will travel around the USA, writing about “how the changing nature of Washington is affecting government decision-making across the country and placing strains on democratic norms.” Washington Post hires David Byler (@databyler) as a Data Analyst and Political Columnist for the Opinion section.
